Institution’s Innovation Council

In the year 2018, the Ministry of Education (MoE) through MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC) launched the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) program in collaboration with AICTE for Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to systematically foster the culture of innovation and start-up ecosystem in education institutions. Primarily, IIC aims to engage large number of students and staff in various innovation and entrepreneurship related activities such as ideation, problem solving, proof of concept development, design thinking, project handling and management at Pre-incubation/Incubation stage, etc., so that innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem gets established and stabilized in Higher Educational Institutions. The Institution’s Innovation Council was established in the year 2020 in our college. The following are the objectives of IIC.

Objectives:

  • To foster the culture of innovation among the students systematically.
  • To inculcate a culture of innovation and entrepreneurial skills among students to develop successful start-ups.
  • To develop better cognitive ability amongst students.
  • To motivate students to participate in various business idea competitions and Hackathons.
