About NAAC

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) conducts the assessment and accreditation of Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs), such as colleges, universities, or other recognized institutions, to determine their ‘Quality Status’. NAAC evaluates institutions based on their conformity to quality standards in areas such as educational processes and outcomes, curriculum coverage, teaching-learning processes, faculty, research, infrastructure, learning resources, organization, governance, financial well-being, and student services.
